Carry Trainer provides real solutions for real problems. It is incumbent upon individuals, businesses, and organizations to protect and defend innocent life.

We provide training for individuals who are looking to make themselves the best that they can be. There is much more to self-defense than obtaining a permit to carry a gun. Training in any martial skill is more than attending a class, it is a lifestyle choice and the decision to exercise the right of arming oneself for the defense of themselves and family should not be taken lightly. Bullets cannot be called back once loosed from the gun. Safety is not an inherent trait; it is learned through proper training and repetition.

  • Awareness
Keeping yourself safe and out of harm’s way is always the best option.

    Combat mindset
Are you mentally prepared to use deadly force to protect yourself or the life of another?

    Use of cover and concealment

Understanding the rapid changing dynamics of self- defense. Making well placed shots while being fired upon is a lot different than making holes in cardboard during a comfortable day at the indoor range.

  • The Right Tools
    Firearm and gear selection.

    Continuing Training and Education
Continuing training and education. Imagine the most terrifying and stressful experience of your life, double it and now imagine having to perform fine motor skill movements such as drawing, aiming and firing a pistol all the while your heart is pounding in your ears. Does your level of training have you prepared for such a scenario?

    Know Your Rights
Legal and ethical implications of deadly force.

Carry Trainer

There is one in every class.
Did you know that the word listen is spelled with the same letters as the word silent? Pretty neat.
The best way of learning is to pay attention, (caveat, pay attention to the right people.)
I have heard this scenario as well as an "instructor" tell the students that after a shooting they should collect all spent brass prior to fleeing the scene. Yep he said this. He even said he carries a ziplock bag on him for this purpose.
What stories do you have like this? Have you heard an instructor or student make some off the wall claims?
Let's hear them below. Most crazy true story wins some #S12 goodies and a Carry Trainer shirt.
Lastly, work on being a good student. Listen and absorb.
Thomas Carlyle said, "Silence is the element in which great things fashion themselves together."

Every student in our next class March 24-25 in Temecula, CA will receive a @gsightsolutions training laser. A few spots are open as of today.

Wait second... I think I fixed that guys weed whacker???

Cool story bro 😎

Yep! As an instructor myself, I always have that one attendee who’s seen, heard, or done everything! Very annoying and disruptive to the class!

My favorite one was a student said he didn’t need any help with his shooting, he knew how to shoot. Then when his wife outshot him during the class he pouted the rest of the afternoon.

Got 2 eyes, 2 ears, and 1 mouth because you should watch and listen twice as much as you talk.

My brother is taking a Illinois concealed carry class and before they start the dry fire section he suggests that we should all double check their firearms to be sure they’re empty. Guy next to him has a round in the chamber and a full clip. They were next door to a fedex store. He saved the day.
